La Perla Do Film Noir
Exquisite lingerie company La Perla drew on film noir and 1940′s Hollywood for it’s recent presentation at New York Fashion Week (as you can see, sponsored by Mercedes Benz).
Inspired by the film Black Dahlia – which happens to be about a notorious and rather gruesome murder back in 1947, California (wikipedia page) – the lingerie range reinterpreted the shape of the dahlia with a new laser cut technique and hand detailed embroidery.
